Ciro Violin



Since racing his first triathlon at age 13, Ciro Violin has completed 12 Ironmans, 52 70.3s, 90 Olympic-distance tris, and 33 marathons. Deemed Brazil’s “Best Age Group Triathlete” by TriSport and Mundo Tri magazines in both 2009 and 2010, Violin in now a 20-year pro. His greatest achievements to date include winning his age group (30/34) at the 2010 Ironman World Championships, taking 7th at 2011 Ironman Brazil – Florianópolis, coming in 9th at 2013 Ironman Brazil, and finishing 7th last season at Chile’s Ironman 70.3 Pucón. The 33-year-old Brazilian triathlete will suit up in 2015 with the Kestrel 4000, ready to tackle races such as Ironman Brazil Fortaleza and Challenge Florianópolis.
